About Nina Cummins Nina is a partner in Osborne Clarke’s telecommunications practice. Truly passionate about all things tech, Nina combines in-depth knowledge of telecoms regulation with commercial pragmatism, and her sheer energy and enthusiasm for working with fast-paced, high-tech multinational clients. She delivers commercial pragmatic advice on a 24:7 timeline. Having worked in both private practice and industry, Nina has over 15 years’ experience advising clients on navigating complex EU and national telecoms regulatory issues. She has been based in a number of key regulatory cities such as London, Berlin, Brussels and Dublin. Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Nina was Associate General Counsel Competition & Telecoms (EMEA) at Facebook. Nina is the go-to advisor for many multi-national communications players (fixed and mobile providers, infrastructure companies, app developers, platforms, equipment manufacturers etc). She covers everything from advising on general authorization regimes and associated conditions, spectrum auctions and licensing, spectrum sharing / trading / leasing arrangements, MVNO arrangements, VoIP, numbering requirements and number portability, access / interconnect issues and related disputes, cost orientation obligations, infrastructure projects including broadband roll- out and related wholesale access commitments, active and passive infrastructure arrangements, connected devices, consumer protection related issues and complex net neutrality issues. She is particularly engaged in advising clients on the potential impact of the new draft EU electronic communications code, and assisting clients in developing lobbying strategies to safeguard their interests during the EU legislative process.
