Finance Monthly Global Awards 2019 www.finance-monthly.com 39 CANADA skills from change projects to the real world, in a safe and secure way, sustainable change wouldn’t be achieved. When you put all this together it starts to build a rich mosaic of skills that drive and develop your implementation muscle. I was and still am, passionate about that. If we want to affect great change, we need to know how to lead it and implement it. What are the most common faults within a business that your consulting services can address for a successful transformation? Fault is a strong word. I go back to ‘we’re all wrestling chaos’ so a lot of the time I think its capability and bandwidth. Look at the technology sector and how it has impacted on businesses worldwide. Leaders may not have developed their implementation muscle and they don’t have bandwidth to manage todays results and lead for tomorrows is more likely the root cause of the issues businesses face today. Proudfoot fills that gap. We focus on helping leaders at all levels develop that capability by doing it with them and showing what good looks like. We demonstrate it through results, and we’re all-in, passionate about making sure we get the results a client sets out to achieve. We also don’t want to do the same assignment twice for you, so we focus on not just helping leaders build new capabilities in their teams so they can operate more effectively in their new world and changed businesses, but we also focus on building implementation capability within the leaders whom need to make change happen every day. We want them to learn what we do, so we are able to help them solve their next strategic challenge while they use their new found skills elsewhere in their business to solve the similar problems to those we’ve just addressed. What has been the cornerstone of the success you’ve found at Proudfoot? Speak Up. Put your Hand Up. Step Up and Shake it Up. You don’t get anywhere playing on the side lines. I love this business and this company. It afforded me a life with continuous learning and experience including working 4000 meters up in the Andes or the border of the Congo. Helping business from New York to Macau. There isn’t a day I don’t recognize how fortunate I am from my roots in Sydney building my own leadership style and skills working at McDonalds at 14 years old, to leading a global consulting company. Much of that is the opportunity Proudfoot gave me time and time again. ABOUT PAMELA HACKETT Pamela Hackett is a dynamic global business leader who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
