Denora Marshall-McPhee, Regional Director, Offshore Trust at Scotia Wealth Management, has over 20 years of experience in Wealth Management, Risk Management and Compliance. Denora joined Scotiabank in 2018 and heads a team of 18 trust professionals in wealth distribution, fiduciary services and investment areas who manage the estate planning, fiduciary services and investment needs of its international high and ultra-high net worth clients based primarily in Latin America and the Caribbean. Denora has worked in various sectors within wealth management and banking, including retail, private banking, and estate planning for various large international institutions.
Denora holds an LLB (Hon) degree from the University of Huddersfield and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has also attained the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes. Denora is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (ICA) and holds a Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance from ICA. Along with the FINRA General Securities Representative Qualification Examination, Denora also received alternative investments, trust administration and compliance training in Guernsey, Jersey, Zurich and Geneva. Denora is a Director of the Association of International Banks ad Trust Companies (AIBT) and was also a member of the Bahamas Private Foundation Legislation Working Committee with the Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB). Denora's team has over 100 years of collective experience and hold professional designations including TEP, CPA, CFA and CFP.
