Giovanni Cataldi is an Economist with an Executive MBA from Fundao Getlio Vargas (FGV) and a Post-MBA in Valuation, also from FGV. He has been active in the Financial Market since 1994, gaining experience in both small and large financial institutions, both nationally and internationally.
Mr Cataldi has completed extension courses in Economic Theory at City University in London, England, International Trade at Cavendish College in London, England, and Business at EF International in Brighton, England. He has also undertaken internships and roles at international Banks and Funds in Europe.
He is a member and former Director of the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives of Rio Grande do Sul (IBEF/RS), former President of the Employers' Union of Non-Banking Financial Institutions of Rio Grande do Sul (SINDFIN), and President of the Council of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Rio Grande do Sul (CCI/RS). Mr Cataldi is certified by the National Association of Financial Market Institutions (ANDIMA) and is a certified investment agent by the National Association of Brokerage Houses (ANCOR).
His extensive knowledge in Finance includes Economic and Financial Consulting and fundraising for companies (Funding). He was elected Finance Executive of the Year in 2010 by the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives of Rio Grande do Sul.
