ADVISOR OF THE YEAR RETIREMENT PLANNING DAVID ANDERSON David returned to Australia to join ART in March 2024. He is responsible for ART’s strategy and operations, and for leading the ART team to achieve our vision to be Australia’s most chosen and trusted retirement partner. David brings to ART more than 30 years of experience in insurance, financial services and professional services having led teams in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. Having spent the past 25 years with Mercer, David’s prior role was global Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to that role, David was President, International with responsibility for all of Mercer’s clients and teams in more than 175 cities and 42 countries outside the United States and Canada. For the nine years between 2015 and 2024, while he was outside Australia, David was based in New York and London where he gained invaluable global experience in retirement savings, employee benefits and investments. David holds qualifications in marketing, superannuation, management and insurance. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of each of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia, the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and the Australian Marketing Institute.
