About Gayle Butterworth
Gayle Butterworth is Finance Director for the Bulk Tainer Group, a provider of bespoke transport services for the shipment of bulk liquid products on a global basis.

Obtaining a BA Honours degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Mathematics in 2003 from The University of Sheffield; Gayle started her career at a small chartered accountancy firm in West Yorkshire where she undertook her Chartered Accountancy exams becoming a qualified member of the ICAEW in 2006. In 2007, Gayle made a move into industry as a Management Accountant for a large healthcare provider in the UK. During her 10 years in the healthcare company, Gayle qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor, becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and saw promotions through to Tax and Treasury Manager.

In 2017, Gayle moved to Bulk Tainer to manage its finance function which was previously outsourced. Gayle has been an integral part of the business; as well as managing the accounts function across numerous Bulk Tainer Group companies internationally, successfully guiding the business smoothly through its financial audits, conforming to all regulatory filing requirements, she has assisted in securing additional finance required to meet its working capital needs through significant periods of growth and setting up companies globally around the world.
